Lauren was selected as an oral speaker during the conference. Tarn competeding NEBEC Poster competition held at RPI, Troy NY. Tarn won 3rd place under Ph.D. catagory.

Dr. Wheatley gave an oral presentation on a project between Thomas Jefferson University and the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research

Tarn and Averie were competing in YCC ACS Poster competition held at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Averie won first place under the undergraduate catagory while Tarn won a runner-up poster for graduate catagory

2013 International Student Poster Competition at ISPE Annual Meeting in Washington DC
Lauren competed in the International Student Poster Competition at the ISPE 2013 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC in November 2013. Students from multiple colleges throughout the United States, as well as Canada, China, and Singapore all competed in the graduate and undergraduate competitions. It was a great experience to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry and make new connections.
2013 BMES Annual Meeting in Seattle
The BMES Annual Meeting was held at Seattle Convention Center. Tarn's abtract was selected for oral presentation in the "Novel Approaches" session as part of the Biomedical Imaging and Optics track.
2013 Clinical and Translational Research Course
The Clinical and Translational Research Course for Ph.D. Students is a two-week intensive introductory course offered by the NIH Clinical Center (CC) in July 2013 at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
